What would Friday be without a visit from our favorite "international model," Phoebe Price? The wannabe's wannabe was spotted outside LA's place for sushi, Katsuya in yet another one of her fashion-forward ensembles. Her brown dress with gold sparkly highlights is the perfect complement to her armful of gold-toned bangles, brown boots and patterned tights. Did you ever notice that Phoebe is always spotted outside of these places? You never see her going in, coming out or actually eating in them, do you? Curious...

Tara Reid, looking surprisingly sober, was spotted outside of LA's Villa nightclub. A gaggle of photographers caught the actress as she tried to finagle a way to get her friends in the door of the super-trendy nightclub. The doorman said 3 members of her party could get in, but the actress' entourage had 4 folks in it. Tara's pleas worked and her whole party - of five - got in. Aaah, she's a party hostess-for-hire and an actress, you can't expect her to be able to count as well.

It's believed that true love turned out to be more beneficial for rehab for the "American Pie" star. Fox News quoted a friend of Tara's as saying, "Tara was heading down a bit of a bad track, but she's totally smitten with this new guy. He has given her a new lease on life and she's back to good again." I'm happy for her, but I kinda miss "Hot Mess Tara." Check out the other celebs who were out and about in La-La Land last night, including Brittny Gastineau, Adrian Grenier, Bobby "Your 15 Minutes Are So Up" Trendy and "High School Musical" star Olesya Rulin (the one who's not Vanessa Hudgens or Ashley Tisdale. Yeah, that one.)

Janet Doles Out Some Discipline

Janet Jackson and her boyfriend Jermaine Dupri were the center of attention as they left CNN's LA studios after an appearance on "Larry King Live" to promote her 10th album "Discipline." During her appearance on the talk show, Janet, looking fit and rocking a tight black leather corset and some wicked high-heeled boots, attempted to teach the septuagenarian host some of her trademark dance moves. Larry, who probably last got dance instruction when the Charleston was all the rage, guaranteed that he'll never get a spot as one of her back-up dancers. Janet did tell Larry that she'd love to tour with her brothers, but Michael's a bit reluctant to take to the stage again.

Janet really needs a hit. Her last 2 albums, "Damita Jo" and "20 Y.O." flopped. Speaking of "flops," maybe another "wardrobe malfunction" may be necessary to crank up her career.

Lindsay Lohan, who probably still has Marilyn Monroe spinning in her crypt, spent her Thursday out with friends in LA. Credit California's sunny and warm weather for Linds' legging-less look. Despite the fact that she looks a bit too orange from a "fake bake" overdose, Lindsay looks good, especially since she went back to the red hair. Lindsay lunched at a California Pizza Kitchen and then shopped at trendy LA boutique Rumor.

Rumor has it that Hugh Hefner wants Lindsay to once again besmirch the memory of America's most famous silver screen icon with a photo shoot in Playboy recreating Miss Marilyn's infamous nude swimming scene in her final, unfinished film "Something's Gotta Give." If that's not bad enough, Lindsay told Paper magazine that her dream role is actress Clara Bow, the "It Girl" of the silent pictures era. I thinks she's much more suited for "The Phoebe Price Story," I mean, she's already got the hair color down. Think about that one, Linds.

I can't believe grown people are putting "bunny ears" behind their friends in photos. I don't think I've done that since my best friend's eight birthday party at some ice cream parlor. The victim of the ear-ing is actress Alexandra Breckenridge, who plays intern Willa on the FX series "Dirt." She was spotted at an after party for the series' second season premiere screening in Hollywood last night, along with star Courteney Cox and her co-producer hubby David Arquette. The lady with the fast fingers behind her is her pal Shannon Woodward of FX's "The Riches," which is the Best. Show. Ever.

Katherine's Fragile Condition

Look everyone, Katherine Heigl does her own chores! The "Knocked Up" actress picked up a few items from her mother Nancy's house in Los Feliz, California, before she and mom went to check on the progress of her newlywed love nest. Geez, is that house ever gong to be finished? At the rate they're going it's more likely to end up Kat and Josh's retirement home! After the home check, Kat and mom joined some friends for lunch - and nicotine - at LA's Figaro restaurant, and the pair did some furniture shopping.

Rumor has it that Katherine wants out of the show that made her a star, "Grey's Anatomy." She recently told the National Enquirer that she felt like she didn't fit in at last week's Oscars, where the actress had a difficult time as a presenter - which she blamed for her cracking, shaky voice and nervousness on stage. She said, “It was kind of surreal. I just felt very out of my league, you know? I was sitting behind Cate Blanchett and Jack Nicholson and sitting next to Renee Zellweger. I kind of wanted to get out my iPhone and take pictures.” Sorry, Kat, if you keep making fluff like "27 Dresses," you'll still be out of your league among Jack n' Cate.

I guess if you ask for something, you get it. All I wanted was to see John Stamos on the beach in Hawaii in a bathing suit and - voila! - here he is. Now, that wasn't so bad now, was it, John? The "ER" star took an early morning kayak trip with a friend in the ocean off Maui yesterday, taking time to watch sea turtles and whales. John seems to think he's carrying a little extra blubber himself, telling photographers, "I need to get some of this fat off of me as I'm going back to work!" before heading inside for some boxing training. Who goes on vacation to work out? John doesn't need to do a thing, I personally think the 44-year-old actor looks fine just the way he is - and he could rival Patrick Dempsey for the dreamiest TV doctor - IMHO, of course.

An extremely bundled-up Julia Roberts faced a chilly New York morning to get some fresh air. The Oscar-winning actress was passed over by the Academy for her work in "Charlie Wilson's War," which may be the reason why she wasn't on the red carpet last Sunday. It could also be the reason for her grouchy face.

C'mon Julia, cheer up, you did win an award this week - your 2000 Oscar look won you the title of best-dressed Oscar winner from the readers of Parade.com. You beat out Halle Berry and Hilary Swank. Does that put a smile on your face? Happiness generates warmth, you know.

Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz, wearing matching hoodies, were caught leaving New York's Ritz-Carlton hotel on their way to special appearance by Ashlee at a party celebrating her new single "Outta My Head (Ay, Ya, Ya)" at nightclub Mirage. Ashlee is really pounding the pavement in support of her new album, "Bittersweet World," putting in appearances at MTV's "TRL" and even performing at a Farmingdale, New York Wal-Mart. Wal-Mart. Really? Maybe because she dyed her hair red, she wants to emulate 80s pop princess Tiffany? Tiffany performed at malls - not Wal-Marts. Get it right, sister!

Not visible in these pictures is Ashlee's new diamond ring, a gift from her Fall Out Boy. The singer showed off her new bling on Fuse TV's "The Sauce," but when asked if she was engaged, she said it was merely a "promise ring." When prodded further, she said, "It just means that he (Pete) hasn't asked my Dad (for permission) yet!" Oh, come on Pete, Papa Joe is more than happy to hook his little girls up - if you ask for her hand, he'll most definitely say "yes," and who knows, he might even throw in Jessica.

Isla Fisher is still hard at work on her new chick-flick "Confessions of a Shopaholic," which is filming on location in New York City. I read the book on some beach somewhere, and I don't remember Isla's character wearing such an ugly, ruffled monstrosity like the one she has on here. That trench coat isn't covering it nearly enough, if you ask me. And lime green gloves? I've been known to be a bit of a shopaholic myself, but I've never, ever found myself in need of green gloves!

In the "Trouble in paradise?" department, Isla told England's Daily Express that she has vowed never to work with her fiance, "Borat" star Sacha Baron Cohen. She says that she doesn't want to put any "further strain" on their relationship. She asked, "How successful are married working relationships? I feel like working together is the kiss of death." The pair has already experienced problems stemming from the lawsuits generated from Sacha's hit 2006 flick. Says Isla, "Our relationship went through a very strange patch. Instead of 'Hey honey, did you pick up the dry cleaning?' it was, 'Did you get beaten up? Are you getting sued? Is there a warrant for your arrest?”' Aaah, if they can survive frivolous lawsuits, they can survive anything.

Ashton Spreads the Love

Ashton Kutcher, the man who could have possibly spread hepatitis to his recent birthday party guests, is now on a mission to spread some love - on celluloid at least. The actor was spotted taking a smoke break and drinking some coffee on the LA set of his new film, "Spread" on Thursday. The flick, a sex comedy revolves around Ashton's character, a serial womanizer. Oh, it's autobiographical - pre-Demi, of course.

This film follows on the heels of his sex comedy "What Happens in Vegas...," due in theaters in May, which teams Ash up with Cameron Diaz in a wacky tale of a quickie marriage in Sin City gone horribly wrong. I'm sensing that Ashton may be getting "spread" a little too thin with his choice of films.

The "Dirt" on Courteney

Courteney Cox arrived at LAX yesterday, looking model-thin in jeans, a black knit top, purple scarf and huge sunglasses. For those of you who missed your "Friend," don't fret, the second season of her controversial new FX series 'Dirt" debuts on Sunday night. On the show, which Courteney executive produces - along with her husband David Arquette - the the 43-year-old star plays a tough-as-nails tabloid editor. With so much celebrity scandal going on in Hollywood, the writers of the show aren't short on material. This season promises storylines ripped from the tabloid headlines. Don't fear, celebs, more than the names will be changed. Courtney says that "We usually do a hybrid of celebrities, and then add to the story like maybe what happened to cause this to happen to them or sum it up in a different way just for fun."

So, has playing a tabloid editor softened Courtney's view of the entertainment media? Not really - in a recent interview she said, "I would say that playing this character and working on this show has definitely shown me how hard (this business) is and how competitive it is. It's just really hard to run a successful magazine. And I (understand) just how many paparazzi there are out there and how hard it is to get the exclusive picture. I guess I've learned (how the paparazzi operates), but that doesn't mean I agree with it all and I definitely don't agree with the obsession on certain celebrities." She has noticed that the paparazzi have been nicer to her since season one, noting, "I think they like the show, so there's a little more camaraderie." As long as Courteney dishes the "Dirt," she's going to be able to have to take a little herself.

Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt are at it again, doing what they seemingly do best - shopping. The "Hills" dynamic duo hit Beverly Hills' Chanel boutique yesterday. Heidi appeared to have fun browsing through the racks of handbags, one of which would probably cost me three months of salary - just like an engagement ring! - and watches. Spencer, when he wasn't on his cell phone, also seemed to enjoy the shopping experience. I have never seen a man so excited to be shopping - but I guess Chanel doesn't have benches for the men to sit on while the ladies shop, like at the mall, so he probably doesn't have a choice.

Heidi cleaned up on her spree, emerging from the store with a huge shopping bag. They definitely were experiencing "shoppers' high." The two were in such good spirits that they even posed for photos with fans before heading to their car. If having your personal business aired on national television gets you perks like shopping at Chanel, sign me up!
