We have no idea why a beautiful young woman like Charlize Therone would try to avoid having her picture taken.
Maybe, like the Native Americans, she believes that when a camera captures one's image, it steals part of one's soul.
Whatever the reason, Charlize isn't alone in her situational camera-shyness. When stars suddenly turn bashful they'll try anything—sunglasses, funny hats, wigs, pulling their jackets over their heads as if they're doing a
perp walk—in order to avoid the flashbulbs.

It looks pretty obvious to me that Demi's only trying to hide the mouth. I suspect another desperate fountain of youth injection.
