The girl crush of many, including myself, lovely Gina Gershon, was just
one of the stars on the red carpet at last night's premiere of the new
Rolling Stones documentary 'Shine A Light' at New York's Zigfeld
Theater.
Gina, no stranger to the rock n' roll biz herself, recently releasing her album 'In Search of Cleo' and touring with her own band to promote her role in 2003's 'Prey for Rock and Roll' joked to reporters that she 'hated' Mick and the boys as she made her way into the screening.
The actress, most recently seen in the very un-rock n' roll flick 'P.S., I Love You' is bringing her talents to the Great White Way in May, in a stage production of the 60s sex comedy 'Boeing Boeing', starring as a sexy stewardess.
Gina admitted to the New York Observer that she has been frustrated in trying to find good roles, lamenting that I like very complicated complex characters. A lot of the movies that I tend to love, people don’t want to make those kinds of movies these days.'
Maybe she should stick to the music. She's never going to lose her association with 'Showgirls.'
Check out all of the red carpet arrivals in the gallery, including Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony, Kelly Lynch, Carla Gugino, Tommy Hilfiger, Vanessa Carlton and, of course, the bad boys of rock, the Rolling Stones.
