While her baby daddy Joel Madden is touring the world with Good

Nicole Richie has taken on the role as doting mom to their daughter,
Harlow Winter.
The still-slight 'Simple Life' starlet took the baby to a kiddie birthday bash in LA on Friday. I never understood elaborate parties for babies. They're not going to remember them.
Nicole isn't just a stay-at-home Mom, she's also now a jewelry designer. She is working with Mouawad, the company behind supermodel Heidi Klum's fine jewelery collection.
She told People magazine that 'It's all costume jewelery. I like to play with jewelery and mix and match' and says her work situation is ideal because 'Everyone's been really mellow and able to work around my schedule. If I need to go feed the baby, I do it.'
Nicole is also designing a line of kids' clothes, which is great for her, since she can use herself as a dress form.
