I Wish I Was Rick Springfield's Girl

Here's a Tuesday morning treat for all of you 80s kids, you know, the ones who carried the 'I (heart) General Hospital' notebooks to school and rushed home every afternoon to catch up on the latest on Luke and Laura. It's Dr. Noah Drake himself, Rick Springfield.

The 57-year-old rocker stopped by a Malibu Starbucks with his pooch for a cup of java on Monday. If coffee is the secret that's keeping him looking gorgeous, I may have to start drinking coffee myself.

In addition to reprising his role as the rockin' doctor last year on 'GH', Rick's still touring, has written a book about the album that skyrocketed him to stardom, 'Working Class Dog', and has a new album coming out later this year.

I think these photos are the best birthday present I could have gotten today!

Very nice pics! I like my Rock Stars the way I like my Starbucks: HOT and sweet...and Rick is both of those things :)

Oh, and happy belated birthday to you. You do know Rick has a new CD coming out, right? You can pre-order it at amazon.com. One of the songs on it is called "Who Killed Rock and Roll" and it's AWESOME! Played it on General Hospital last August. Just thought ya'd wanna know.
