'American Pie' starlet Shannon Elizabeth got a cool reception from
'Dancing with the Stars' viewers for her mambo and tango on Monday, but
the chilly actress feels a warm welcome outside of the ABC Studios.
Shannon's elimination from the dance competition was good news for Cristian De La Fuente, who ruptured a tendon in his left arm after attempting to lift partner Cheryl Burke. Cheryl's ego was probably too heavy. He vows to put off any needed surgery until after the show wraps. What a trouper.
Even though her dancing days are over, the 'showmance' between Shannon and her 'DWTS' partner, Derek Hough, is sure to continue. The pair appeared on Jimmy Kimmel's show hand-in-hand and not leaving any room for the Holy Spirit between them (sorry, Catholic school).
I think every girl would love a good friend like Derek. He's a hottie and can dance. The guys I have to choose from have the dancing style of Bill Cosby. And they wear uglier sweaters.
