All of Hollywood and its mother was in New York City Monday night to
attend the Metropolitan Museum's 'Superheroes: Fashion and Fantasy'
gala.
And despite what the theme would suggest, NONE of them dressed up special.
Which is to say, they looked gorgeous/delectable/lickable/whatever, but there were definitely no Batmans or Supergirls.
Maggie Gyllenhaal came close, however, looking like the evil queen out of 'Sleeping Beauty' (do Disney characters qualify as superheros?), and Christina Ricci appropriately channeled the Queen of Hearts, which I appreciated. Gotta also give Naomi Watts and Tilda Swinton some props for trying to look super-hereo-esque.
