Velvet Revolver lead singer Scott Weiland enjoys a
night
out at L.A. nightclub Foxtail on Thursday. The rocker will be leading a
less 'Plush' life soon, as he was sentenced to serve 192 hours - that's
8 whole days - behind bars this week as punishment for a second DUI
conviction.
The singer, through his attorney, entered a plea of no contest to a misdemeanor drunken driving charge in Los Angeles Superior Court on Monday. In addition to spending time in the pokey, the 40-year-old was also sentenced to four years' probation and must take part in an 18-month alcohol program.
Scott, who is taking a reunited Stone Temple Pilots on the road for a 65-city tour commencing on May 17, has to serve his time before May 28.
Is it just me, or should Scott find somewhere other than a bar to hang out before reporting to jail for a DUI?
