Unbe-weave-able!: Celebs Get Wiggy (Many Modes of Britney Edition)
Tue, 06 May 2008
Many people believe that pop sensation Britney Spears wigged out on
February 17, 2007, when she walked into a Tarzana, California, hair
salon and shaved her own head.
This is untrue: She actually wigged out in the ensuing months when, in a moment of clarity, she realized that looking like Colonel Kurtz from Apocalypse Now wasn't doing much for her reputation as a sex symbol.
As she waited for her real tresses to grow back, Spears tried out a variety of substitutes, with varying degrees of success. Perusing Brit-Brit's cavalcade of quasi-coiffures, reactions range from "Hey, not bad!" to "Hey, isn't that Linda Tripp?"
