Heidi and Spencer Make Mother's Day a Family Affair

Everyone's favorite couple from 'The Hills,' Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt, planned a special Mother's Day treat for Heidi's Mom yesterday in Beverly Hills.

Heidi's Mom, Darlene, came to visit her daughter from her hometown of Crested Butte, Colorado, which Heidi recently described as 'the smallest place in the world.'

'Spiedi' - always ready with an elaborate gift for any occasion, greeted Darlene with an over-sized bouquet of flowers and a huge Mother's Day card. And the trio shared laughs and hugs before heading to brunch at the Beverly Wilshire hotel.

Well, after this big display, Spencer probably doesn't have to worry about winning over his future (?) Mother-in-law.

Heidi and Spencer are Off to the Races

'The Hills' own Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt were just many of the celebs in attendance at the 134th running of the Kentucky Derby at Churchill Downs on Saturday.

The couple was dressed to the nines, with Spencer in a gray suit and Heidi in a strapless, floral print dress and over-sized hat, which nearly took flight in the stiff Kentucky winds.

Sipping on mint juleps, Heidi and Spencer sat in the private box seat section known as 'Millionaire's Row' - the place-to-be for the rich and famous. In fact, they were just a few seats down from Larry Birkhead and Jerry O'Connell (okay, now I'm really jealous.)

Of course, they bet on the ponies and were thrilled when their horse came in a winner. Later, they took on hosting duties at the Puglisi Stables after-party at Raw Sushi Lounge in Louisville. Spencer said he and Heidi "loved" Louisville "100 percent" and are hoping to make a return visit next year.

Heidi and Spencer's Late Night

Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt made an appearance on 'The Late Show with David Letterman' last night to talk about 'The Hills.' And, despite playing nice for a Rolling Stone spread, Heidi told Dave a reconciliation with Lauren Conrad was probably not going to be part of the show. 

Heidi brought all of the drama of the MTV reality show to the Letterman show, saying that her former BFF Lauren Conrad, asked her to break up with Spencer. She recalled that LC told Heidi she was in love with Spencer and wanted him to meet her Dad, 'and then next day, on camera, she says if you are not broken up with him we can't be friends anymore…and then we stopped being friends…and then all of a sudden she had this sex tape coming out.'

As for the (still-alleged) sex tape, which features LC and former beau Jason Wahler, Heidi claimed that she tried to help keep it under wraps, telling Dave, 'I tried to help her get it back for a year. I told her you have got to get it back….you have to do something about it... the next thing that I know I was blamed for the sex tape. I didn't film it. I didn't do it. I am not trying to sell it. How did it come down on me?'

When David asked if Heidi could still be friends with LC, Heidi replied, 'I don't think so. After blaming a sex tape on me and making a whole season about it…I am not so sure.'

Who would have ever thought David Letterman's show would be so drama-packed?

Heidi and Spencer Do Dinner with the President

Heidi Montag, in an outfit that looked quite familiar (still love the shoes though) and her boyfriend Spencer Pratt were all smiles as they left Washington DC's Willard Intercontinental Washington Hotel on the way to the 2008 White House Correspondents Dinner.

The dinner, which was held at the Washington Hilton hotel was hosted by Craig Ferguson, who's very funny and President Bush, who's not.

Guests included Heidi's nemesis Lauren Conrad, Ben Affleck, Pamela Anderson, Marcia Cross and the Jonas Brothers.

Last time we checked, it didn't look like the 'Hills' couple was going to be in attendance at the event, which mingles pop culture and politics. Rumors circulated about plane fares, schedule conflicts and such, but Heidi told reporters at the event, 'Don't believe everything you read.'

The Hills Are Alive with the Sound of Partying

Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt joined the cast of 'The Hills' to celebrate Spencer's sister Stephanie's birthday at a bash at Boulevard 3 on Sunset Boulevard in LA last night.

Reality TV's favorite couple made a grand entrance at the party, complete with balloons and flowers for the birthday girl. The two posed for photos and even signed some autographs before heading inside to join the festivities.

The party had major drama potential, since Heidi's nemesis Lauren Conrad was among the guests - so, of course the shindig was filmed for the MTV reality show. Sadly, Lauren left soon after Heidi and Spencer arrived.

Brody Jenner, who left early after apparently having an argument at the gathering - at least someone was able to being the drama for the MTV cameras - and Audrina Partridge, glowing in a sparkling gold dress, were also at the party.

With the whole event being filmed, it feels like we're all on the guest list. And if it's not a fun party, we don't have to make an awkward exit, we can just change the channel.

Heidi and Spencer Deserve a Break Today

Reality TV's favorite couple, Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt got dolled up and dined at Wolfgang Puck's Cut restaurant at the Beverly Wilshire hotel in LA last night.

It's about time these two took a break and chilled out for a bit. I mean, last week they were running all over New York City, promoting the third season of the Hills and this past week it was all about Heidi's clothing line Heidiwood, which pretty much sold out its first day on the shelves at LA boutique Kitson.

Then there's that spin-off. Heidi recently told Us magazine, 'We've had a lot of ups and downs, and if we make it through this season, I'd love to look down the road to a spin-off.'

If they do manage to escape 'The Hills', I think Heidi's Dad should be considered for a supporting role on the new show. According to Heidi, he's 'obsessed' with Spencer. She says, 'It's literally the only thing he calls to talk to me about!'

Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt have piggybacked a little couple time on their trip to New York promoting the latest season of their MTV hit, 'The Hills.'

The on-again/off -again couple did the 'tourist thing', riding through Central Park on a white horse and carriage, boating in the lake, and getting chauffeured around the park in the back of a bicycle taxi - snapping photos all the while.

Apparently these two are 'on' again, as Spencer gave Heidi a little sugar during their romantic day.

In other Heidi news, she recently told TMZ that she was hoping for an August release date for her album and is stepping behind the lens to direct her next music video.

Reality shows, fashion design, directing - is there anything she can't do?

Heidi Montag's Cinematic Aspirations

Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt are still living it up in the Big Apple. The two got dolled up and dined at the Kobe Club restaurant last night.

All of you 'Hills' fans who were hoping to see Heidi and the gang on the big screen shouldn't hold your breath. Heidi has pretty much squashed the rumors of a 'Hills' movie, telling MTV.com that, 'I’ve never discussed a movie possibility for ‘The Hills’…and I’m not sure if for my first movie I’d let Lauren Conrad narrate me, so I don’t think that would be something I would do.'

Instead, Heidi - who apparently has big screen aspirations, said she'd rather co-star with Denzel Washington than Spencer. Sorry, Spencer. She added, 'I want to be, like, an action star. I want a big gun....I want to be the badass.'

A fashion-designing badass. Now this I've gotta see.

Heidi Montag Brings a Little 'Heidiwood' Glamor to the Big Apple

'Hills' star-turned fashionista Heidi Montag and her occasional beau Spencer Pratt hit NYC to promote Heidi's new clothing line, Heidiwood.

The couple made an appearance on MTV's 'TRL', where Heidi performed an impromptu rap in front of the audience and R&B singer Nelly.

After taping the show, the fashionable duo headed to Barney's New York on Madison Ave for a little shopping  - and possibly some fashion inspiration for Heidi.

Heidi, who insists she's not competing with her nemesis Lauren Conrad's fashion line, says her clothes are more 'sexy and fun' than LC's offerings - and then added that her line is 'going to be very price oriented. I want all my fans to be able to buy it. I want to bring that fashionable clothing line down to a price range where people can actually afford it.'

After the obvious dig at LC's prices, she made sure to wish her luck. I'm sure she means that.

Heidi Montag's New Project Hits the Runway

Only hours after returning from a Mexican jaunt with on-again/off-again beau Spencer Pratt, Heidi Montag debuted her new fashion collection, Heidiwood at Hollywood and Highland Center.

The brief showcase presented eight new outfits from the collection - which is available at Anchor Blue stores - all to tunes from Heidi's upcoming, still-untitled album.

At the end of the show, Heidi strutted her stuff on the runway in a midriff-baring, zebra print halter top, black short shorts and monstrous platform shoes.

Spencer then publicly congratulated his lady love by jumping on stage, presenting her with 2 dozen long-stemmed pink roses and planting a big smooch on her lips.

After the show, Heidi said of their relationship, 'the bottom line is that we love each other. We always have and we’re just trying to figure out our stuff, like every other couple.'

At least Spencer's trying. You couldn't get my husband to a fashion show even if it was during the halftime of the Super Bowl.

America's favorite reality couple, Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt, strap on their bunny ears for Spencer's niece, Ava, at an L.A. Easter egg hunt.

Ava looks like she could be Spencer and Heidi's daughter.

Does cavorting with the cherubic toddler make Heidi and Spencer want one of their own?

They'd better make like a couple of bunnies if they want their pregnancy as a 'Hills' story arc. The new season debuts tonight on MTV.

'The Hills' favorite couple, Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt were in the market for a camera; so they trekked to an L.A. camera store to check out the latest in digital photography.

Spencer knows a thing or two about cameras, as evidenced by his mad lens skillz on Heidi's 'Higher' video.

The couple decided on a Leica digital camera. If it has video capture, Spencer can use it for Heidi's next video.

If they do a clip for 'Body Language,' Heidi will have to play cinematographer for a bit, to capture her man busting funky fresh rhymes.

Must Be Nice...

Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt are at it again, doing what they seemingly do best - shopping. The "Hills" dynamic duo hit Beverly Hills' Chanel boutique yesterday. Heidi appeared to have fun browsing through the racks of handbags, one of which would probably cost me three months of salary - just like an engagement ring! - and watches. Spencer, when he wasn't on his cell phone, also seemed to enjoy the shopping experience. I have never seen a man so excited to be shopping - but I guess Chanel doesn't have benches for the men to sit on while the ladies shop, like at the mall, so he probably doesn't have a choice.

Heidi cleaned up on her spree, emerging from the store with a huge shopping bag. They definitely were experiencing "shoppers' high." The two were in such good spirits that they even posed for photos with fans before heading to their car. If having your personal business aired on national television gets you perks like shopping at Chanel, sign me up!

Heidi and Spencer are back! The "Hills" couple was once again followed by cameras, but this time it was a TV crew from the series "MySpace Presents: The Fit." The popular show, which has previously featured such stars as Emmy Rossum and Samantha Ronson, now follows Heidi as she takes viewers to her favorite stores and doles out fashion tips. The first stop for the fashionable pair was trendy Robertson Boulevard boutique Kitson, where Heidi posed with a "Team Heidi" shirt and modeled a tiger print hoodie. The couple, followed by a swarm of photographers, then made their way to Lisa Klein. Spencer, ever the gentleman carried the bags for his lady love, who was stylishly dressed in a short silver dress with tall wedge heels. What's in those bags anyway? You'll find out when the show debuts on April 15.
